This is your first SWS, isn't it? ^^ I really, really like the formatting and the shape of it. The ~ Just Married ~ looks like a decorative sign (well, naturally ^^") but also a tattoo. It's intriguing how the opposites aren't definite. I couldn't say specifically what they are. Could be love and hate, hope and disappointment, murderer and victim ^^" "Heart" could be literal and/or metaphorical. It seems (to me) that this could be a story about a grisly murder. Or it could be a story about the new husband being vulnerable and offering up all his love and his new wife wounding him. Or perhaps it's not a married couple at all - it's a marrying up of flesh and weapon. Those are the newly weds. Or perhaps I'm thinking too much ^^
Heh, it's something I need to work on. Quality over quantity and whatnot.
It is my first. Thanks for noticing ^_^ And good eye; the middle line was meant to look like a banner.
For the opposites, the concrete ones could be "his" and "her." Thematically, living thing (heart) vs. inanimate thing/death (knife), or the tones. What should have been a happy start turned into a grisly end. I like what you pointed out as well! Maybe the opposites are just the ways you could read this- figurative vs. literal.
Over-thinking is half the fun of reading. I'm happy you wanted to mull this over a bit.
Good luck to you as well! I hadn't gotten around to commenting on it yet, but I really enjoyed your entry. The mirrored numbers and format made for a lovely look.
